About Scott Roberts

Scott Roberts, author of New in Christ Scott Roberts is a committed follower of Jesus Christ, serving as a church elder/pastor, teacher, and men's ministry leader at Bayfair Baptist Church in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Originally from Missouri, Scott once was involved in the fiery foods and BBQ industry before God called him to focus on ministry.

He is the author of multiple discipleship resources, including Warrior Disciple, a men's ministry book designed to build strong, biblically grounded manhood centered on the Gospel.Scott also regularly teaches, writes, and speaks on Christian living, biblical manhood, and practical discipleship.

Scott's passion is to see new believers rooted in Scripture and thriving in their relationship with Jesus. This passion led to the creation of New in Christ — a short, accessible guide designed to help new Christians take their first steps of faith with clarity and confidence.

Scott lives in the Greater Toronto Area with his wife and family. When he's not writing or serving in ministry, you'll find him enjoying family time, exploring God's creation, or sharing a good meal with friends.
